The wind whooshed outside Reddy's tree. Whoooo. Whoooo.
Reddy pulled his blanket over his ears. 'I don't like that sound,' he said.
Mono the monkey peeked in. 'It's just the wind saying goodnight to the leaves,' he said. 'Want to build a cozy cave?'
They gathered soft moss, folded leaves, and a single glowing firefly to keep watch.
Inside the cozy cave, the wind still whooshed — but now it sounded like a lullaby.
'Safe sounds,' Reddy whispered. And he closed his sleepy eyes.
