How we create and review our content

Purpose

JustParentsLife publishes original bedtime stories, printable coloring pages, gentle routine tools, and short parent-facing guides for families with children roughly ages 2–8. Our aim is to make screen-free family moments easier to start.

What we publish

• Original bedtime stories and character content (the Enchanted Forest world).
• Printable coloring pages and bedtime routine tools.
• Short parent guides on routines, wind-down, and screen-free play.
• Product pages for our own Etsy printables and Amazon paperback.

Parent-experience vs. factual claims

Most of our guidance reflects one family's routine experience, and we label it that way. When a page includes health-adjacent or research-based information (for example, sleep or screen-time guidance), we point to public organizations like the American Academy of Pediatrics or the CDC. Our Sources page lists the references we rely on.

Health-adjacent limits

Our resources are educational and creative. They are not medical advice, therapy, diagnosis, or a substitute for professional support. We avoid outcome promises such as "fixes bedtime" or "improves sleep quality." If a family is dealing with persistent sleep, behavior, or health concerns, please talk to a pediatrician or qualified professional.

Stories and characters

The Enchanted Forest characters — Maya the Giraffe, Reddy the Bear, Mono the Monkey, and Syssy the Mermaid — are original to JustParentsLife. Story arcs, dialogue, and printable art are created for this site and its associated products.

Use of AI

We use AI tools to help with brainstorming, drafting, editing, and generating some illustrations. Every published story, guide, printable, and product page is reviewed and edited by a human before it goes live. We do not publish unreviewed AI output as expert advice.

Updates and corrections

We revise pages as our resources improve or as sources are updated. If you spot an error or a claim that needs a source, please contact us and we will review and correct it.

Marketplace links

Some pages link to our own listings on Etsy and Amazon. Purchases are completed on the marketplace website. Prices, availability, shipping, returns, and marketplace policies are controlled by Etsy or Amazon and may change. We do not currently participate in third-party affiliate programs; if that changes, we will disclose it here and on the relevant pages.
